The hero who belonged to Special Forces Unit FOX and once saved the world from a worldwide nuclear war,
though he&#39s never mentioned in history.
He was praised by the President of the United States as a true patriot and was granted the title of Big Boss.
He has currently left FOX. However, with FOX&#39s plot, he is once again called to the battlefield...

[B]Roy Campbell[/B]
The sole survivor of the Green Beret unit which was dispatched to San Hieronymo Peninsula.
The unit was annihilated by FOX. His foot was injured, and he was captured as a prisoner of war.
He then has his destined encounter with Snake.

[B]Null [/B]
The one known by the CIA as "[B]The Perfect Soldier[/B]".
He is kept confined in a coffin-shaped sensory deprivation water tank.
Raised to be the strongest soldier, he carries out his missions without hesitation.

[B]Gene [/B]
An excellent soldier with good looks.
He became the central member of FOX after Snake left.
His codename is "[B]Viper[/B]". He&#39s highly charismatic by nature.

[B]Ursula [/B]
The female member of FOX who quietly follows Gene and has a powerful ESP ability.
Elza, the medical chief, is her twin sister.
With Gene, she coldheartedly corners Snake.

[B]Python [/B]
FOX member and Snake&#39s former comrade-in-arms.
Due to a wound recieved in battle, an abnormality with his body&#39s thermoregulation has occured,
and he wears a special cooling suit to keep himself enshrouded in cold air.

[B]Cunningham [/B]
Although he was once a member of FOX,
he was forced to retire from the front-line due to an injury sustained in battle.
He now has an artificial leg.
When he was enrolled in FOX, his codename was "[B]Boa[/B]".
He joins the rebellion with Gene.
