<>　　本作仍然是以Snake为主人翁，并且是完全的新作，历来便是〃合金装备》系列亮点的剧情在本作中也不会减少其魅力，登场的众的人物中除开帮助snake的同伴，亦有处处阻挠snake的强敌。现在已经明确的两位同伴都还不知道名字，但是因为是同伴，所以出场的机会想必不少。其中一位是在无线通讯中出现的对话者，看样子应该是指挥官之类的人物，他会和Fox Hound部队有什么关系呢？而一直在游戏中作为调味料出现的女性角色，又增加了一名新人，看样子她似乎是和snake一同潜入敌人基地，而且看起来似乎可以操纵。</P>
