<>　　本作由〃鬼武者》与〃洛克人》系列的名制作人 船敏敬二 领军制作，故事背景为纪元前 44 年的罗马帝国，叙述当时的罗马帝国由于政治腐败，因此凯萨（Julius Caesar）主张进行政治改革，但不幸在改革实行之前便遭到抗杀而导致改革失败。</P>
<>　　随着凯萨的死亡讯息传出，身为凯萨亲近顾问大臣的 Uesnius 却因为谋杀凯萨的罪嫌而遭到起诉。此时 Uesnius 的儿子 Agrippa 为了洗刷父亲的冤情，而与好友 Octavius 以參女剑士 Claudia 等伙伴一起展开行动，解开隐藏在凯萨抗杀事件的真相与揭发背后的阴谋。</P>

<>　　在游戏系统方面，共分两个部分，其中之一为动作部分，另一个为匿踪冒险部分，游戏中玩家将交替操作 Agrippa 与 Octavius 来进行故事，在操作 Agrippa 时将会着重于动作成分，Octavius 则着重于匿踪冒险部分。玩家还可以透过道具的装备结合，或是偷其他人的服装来进行变装等动作，变化相当丰富。</P>
<>　　游戏中的舞台也充分呈现出纪元前的罗马帝国景观与文化背景，像是罗马特有的建筑风格、市集、竞技场、战船、森林 等，玩家将必须探索游戏中广大的罗马舞台，进行血腥残酷的竞技场死亡斗剑与战车比武对决，与各式各样的人打交道，靠着过人武勇与智慧，解开隐藏在背后的真相。</P>
<>　　游戏的绘图部分，采用了同制作人旗下的〃鬼武者3》3D 绘图引擎，达成与〃鬼武者3》同等级的画面表现，音效部分并支援 Dolby Pro Logic II 环场音效，呈现出逼真的游戏场景、人物与音效。</P>
