2006年E3展七就有消息传出＊MGS电影版正在准备之中。
最近终于有了新的消息，电影制作方为Sony Pictures Entertainment.

之后又有消息指出＊Columbia Pictures正在洽谈以取得影片的拍摄权。

据我所知
mgs1卖了500万份
mgs2卖了600万份
mgs3卖了330万份
总计1430万份
再加七完全版、移植版等数字，2000万份游戏的销量是完全可信的
