Day 1

片头
The actors&#39 names appear in a mixture of[B] DNA[/B] nucleotides (for non-Patriot-affiliated characters&#39 actors) and beeping [B]bar codes[/B] (for Patriot-affiliated characters&#39 actors).

纯属虊构
- Even in Substance, though, the first thing you see is a disclaimer, like at the start of books and at the end of movies, saying that[B] all the characters are fictional[/B] and all resemblances to real people and organisations is coincidental. There is no legal obligation for the game to contain that notice; in fact, it&#39s the only game in the series which does,.... , the effect is to remind the player that the game is fiction, and ... telling them – this is only a game.

油轮七的镇定剂
- The Pentazemin trick is a cute moment. Incidentally, when you&#39re in third person view, the stage kind of bounces and rolls irritatingly, and the Pentazemin gets rid of that.

油轮电脑和太空漫游
- Not only that, but the name of the terminal is &#39[B]MONORITH[/B]&#39. So we&#39ve got Dave and Hal on board the Discovery using Monolith (allowing for Japanese l/r confusion). Then the great big ship sinks and we get the young couple Jack and Rose. Tee hee.

两部叉车
- Aha, the forklift truck you have to hide behind before boarding an elevator. The difference here is that you can&#39t really hide behind the forklift, because the graphics are such that it isn&#39t rendered as a cohesive block and so the guards can see through it. Kojima actually [B]used the improvement in graphics to make fun of an aspect of the last game[/B].

得癌症的维纳斯
- Trivia - When the parrot says [B]&#39Venus in Cancer&#39[/B] it&#39s actually saying something like [B]&#39the Venusian crab[/B]!&#39 and it was a particularly bad mistranslation, because the parrot was intended to show (in this part) that where Otacon is an anime otaku, Emma is a sci-fi and toku(特摄) otaku. (EDIT: This is why Para-Medic, when talking to Snake about the crab, says &#39not the Venusian kind&#39.) Emma also likes Policenauts, apparently. I WANT MY LOCALISATION.（04＊ &#39the Venusian crab出自电影It Conquered the World）

背偷窥的女性死了么？
- Jennifer gets a bullet in the head and dies. Kojima rubs his hands and says "I hope you feel guilty for looking up her skirt now." Kojima games tend to star flirts and perverts... In this part, Kojima does his usual trick of giving the player a pretty woman to ogle like an object and flirt with for fanservice, but then he gives her a meaningless and sudden death which comes out of nowhere, and you realise [B]her last moments were you knocking her out to look up her skirt[/B]. Again, it ties in with the whole &#39don&#39t hate the game, hate the player&#39 thing Koji&#39s trying to push on you - if you ignore Jennifer (like the game tries to make you), you have nothing to be guilty of.

同人女式的分析——雷电的作战服
Incidentally, the uniform thing&#39s both more foreshadowing and yet another jab at Raiden&#39s looks. Why would the uniform be too small for Raiden when Raiden&#39s about average male height, a hint smaller than most of the guards? Answer - [B]he was given a woman&#39s uniform[/B]. Why would he be given a woman&#39s uniform? Because Mr. X was only able to get hold of a woman&#39s uniform. Why would Mr. X only be able to get hold of a woman&#39s uniform? Because Mr. X isn&#39t a man, she&#39s a female Gurlukovich soldier, and she&#39s giving away her uniform. But there&#39s only one female Gurlukovich soldier, and that&#39s, of course, who Mr. X turns out to be.)

又是2P手柄？
- The bridge between Shells 1 and 2 has some subtle previous-game references - you have to backtrack for a sniper rifle, and the easiest way to pass the area is by using the second controller (here to rotate the flag). No-one gives you any help with the flag, so that part&#39s more of an Easter Egg to people who know what&#39s going on.

弥母课开始了！
- "A legend is nothing but fiction. Someone tells it, someone else remembers, everybody passes it on." There you&#39ve got [B]the introduction to the meme theory[/B] in this game.

刺猬头雷电（有图么？）
- Hahahaha, when Raiden steps on the electric floor and comes away, his hair stands up at the back for a good thirty seconds.

合金装备不是分裂细胞
- I love that little rubber duck at the end of the swimming section. In no other game would you do a swim through the twisted, flooded wreckage of a bombed building looking for a way to rescue the President of the United States, and, at the end of your long and difficult swim, find a duck. [B]That duck is the reason Metal Gear isn&#39t Splinter Cell or Syphon Filter[/B]. That duck, to me, is "Metal Gear".

最终幻想7 vs 合金装备2
- A minor personal narm moment is when Snake says &#39On that day, two years ago&#39 and I flash straight back to Nibelheim. Well, you have got a large group of clones gathering together for no readily apparent reason until it&#39s all explained in the big twist; a blond guy who&#39s confused, a soldier, and has a pretty dark-haired girl who&#39ll do anything for him except tell the truth; a pretty, upbeat pink-wearing girl with light brown hair who gets stabbed through the middle by an evil guy with long hair who keeps coming back from the dead, and [B]she&#39s &#39buried&#39 in water[/B]... I could go on.

[U]空房子里的梦境[/U]
- Ah, the empty room. [B]The symbolism there is unbelievable[/B] and I won&#39t talk about it. I&#39m going to link you to [U]insertcredit.com&#39s[/U] far more interesting article on what the &#39empty room&#39 means. Go read it, it&#39s good.

奥塔肯的大学？
- More interestingly, the Colonel gives us a candidate for Otacon&#39s possible university: &#39[[B]Emma] followed in her brother&#39s footsteps and enrolled in Oxford[/B].&#39 We know Otacon has family in England (well, Julie), so that would make sense.

VR？聃胜于无！（带图）
-（雷电狙击保护浮桥七的艾玛之前说） "I&#39ve faced a similar situation in Advanced Mode Level 4 VR Training with the PSG-1!" Raiden says, expecting Snake to be terribly impressed. Because I love you, I went and took screenshots of that level:




So yeah, [B]you&#39ve got a central, low-down point and soldiers walking around on a frame[/B]. It is a similar situation.

锯齿电刑
The second you see that eerie pixellated image of the torture table lights, and hear your captors discussing not what they should do with you (like in the last game) but how [B]you mean nothing and don&#39t exist[/B] (another way of making You The Player feel small), you know that you&#39re down the Kojima rabbit hole.

好莱坞电影
- And here Kojima hits us with the Meta Bat. [B]&#39They showed us Hollywood action movies...the kind with macho guys and big guns&#39[/B]. What is MGS if not an attempt to make a Hollywood action movie into a game? What is Kojima if not a fan of Hollywood action movies? Is the media training us into the image of killers? Is Kojima? By becoming a fan wanting to emulate Snake&#39s desirable traits, are we also going to start emulating his undesirable traits? Do we take fantasy too far? Dear god, Kojima, you hate us. We [I]get[/I] it.

衔尾蛇
- The pause menu adds to the &#39swallowed&#39 feel, showing you an old drawing of a world-turtle (Arsenal) supported by elephants (RAYs) and surrounded by an ouroboros (Solidus, or maybe the &#39legend&#39 of Snake).

雷电 vs 美玲
Raiden shoots, and rolls, and slashes his sword, and fires missile after missile, but he&#39s not really doing it any more than Mei Ling was really blowing kisses or pretending to be an aeroplane, any more than Naomi was looking up vital information on her computer. [B]They were performing for fanservice[/B]. And so we know that Raiden himself is &#39performing&#39.

起伏的臀部
-（天狗战中） I notice if you knock Snake out, as he breathes in his sleep, [B]his ass undulates[/B]. I just can&#39t describe it. It&#39s so weird and yet so enthralling.

说理大师的模仿秀
- The plaque at the bottom of the George Washington statue shows George kneeling in the exact same pose Solidus adopts at the end.

最慎人的片尾曲
- ...and then there&#39s Can&#39t Say Goodbye To Yesterday, the creepiest ending song ever.

In the ending, Raiden talks about moving on; Snake tells him to move on (&#39a new name&#39). He and Rose look at each other and agree to move on. And then the song starts, and it sings about

[I]I can&#39t say good-bye to yesterday, my friend,
I keep holding on &#39til the end
Out of the darkness there is no other way
than the light leading to yesterday

It&#39s there that I&#39ll find
Inner peace not war
and dreams that I let slip away
I&#39ll find the joyfulness I&#39m looking for
way back in yesterday[/I]

. . . . . . . ohmy

It&#39s this beautiful song and it really sums up Raiden as a character, but it suggests that Raiden&#39s going back to LIVING IN DENIAL and argh argh argh (SECRET - [B]THIS GAME TERRIFIES ME MORE THAN SH2[/B] AND THIS IS WHY) and I think that since Kojima helped write the words that this is totally, totally intentional.

snake天狗战的武器
It seems to be dictated by chance what weapon Snake uses in the first Tengu battle - the[B] USP or the M4[/B]. Strangely, his performance doesn&#39t seem to be affected, as he can still shoot at machine-gun speeds with a handgun. (How does he do this? Possibly magic.)

VR那个还有结合Meling的拍照模式场景分析让我佩服的五体惕地.....

印象里MGS2提參的VR任务还不止那么一个，回头看看去....

另外没看懂的一点＊Jennifer怎么死的？
